What is City Street?
City Street is a rewards app for local shops. Customers earn City Coins on bills at registered shops and spend them on offers at other shops on the street.
Is City Street free for customers?
Yes. Customers download the app, sign in with their phone number and start earning coins at no cost.
How much does it cost a shop?
A flat ₹999 + GST a month per shop. There is no commission on sales and no per-bill charge.
Who pays for the offers?
Each shop creates and funds its own offers and sets how many coins they cost, so the shop stays in control of its discount.
Can City Coins be exchanged for cash?
No. City Coins are reward points that unlock shop offers. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money.
What happens if a coupon is not used in 7 days?
It expires and the coins spent on it are not returned, so the app shows a clear countdown and sends a reminder before expiry.
Where is City Street available?
City Street is launching first in Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, on Android. More areas will follow.
How is fraud prevented?
Bills are tied to a verified phone number, there are daily limits per shop and per customer, a shop can cancel a wrong bill within 24 hours, and unusual activity is reviewed by our team.
